Ocean Adventures with Cory: Saving the Coral Reef City is the second book in the Ocean Adventure series, a set of children's books initiative by Oceanus Conservation to introduce and teach proper marine conservation to coastal town residents. Through story and illustration, we explore what coral bleaching is, why it happens, and how it affects marine life, while keeping the narrative approachable and engaging for kids. The book also invites children to become part of the solution, introducing simple, age-appropriate ways they can help care for and protect the ocean in their everyday lives.
As with the first book, I led all creative visual work, from character design and illustration to layout and print proofing. Together, the two installments form a gentle but impactful storytelling journey—one that encourages curiosity, empathy, and a sense of responsibility for the ocean and the life it supports. 💙

"Cory, the coral, is now back with new adventures with her friends the Parrotfish, and Pawi, the Pawikan! This ocean storybook talks about the impact of climate change on coral reefs and how we can all contribute to protecting them from further destruction.
We also added new activities for teachers to educate their students and motivate them to act for our climate."
